Alison is a people person – she also loves property and would say interior design is her most passionate interest, but it’s her place in the community which stirs her soul. She relates beautifully to others, listens to the needs of families with whom she’s working, and ends up counting many of them as friends. She also has many repeat clients who love her honest, calm and relaxed manner, as well as her perseverance when necessary and the fact that she’s simply always available.
Her goal in her work is to provide a service way beyond what clients expect, making a potentially stressful experience an enjoyable one with minimal disruption and an exciting end result. She has a deep-rooted desire to get it right for people, and therefore never loses her enthusiasm or willingness to work hard.
Born in the UK, Alison married there and together they literally sailed their way to New Zealand. Having worked mainly in the film industry, she then decided on a change in career around ’96 and hasn’t looked back. Her love of life and genuine approach allowed her to quickly find her feet in the Auckland real estate market. Having lived in Auckland for 20 years, in Remuera, Glendowie, and now Mission Bay, she and her family of four children proudly call New Zealand home.
Alison is supported by her husband, Robert Jackson-Mee, who has over 35 years experience in commercial photography advertising top international brands. He also has an in-depth knowledge of the building industry, is a licensed real estate salesperson, and having spent five years living in Hong Kong speaks pretty good Cantonese. Together they make a formidable team!

A Lovely Kind Person and a Terrific Agent.
Alison was an enormous help through a stressful time in our lives. Buying a house, needing to sell another, all while Karina, my wife, was 7-8 months pregnant with our third child. On top of that, the market appeared to be cooling.
We were so happy with the result for Gowing Drive. A four week marketing campaign kicked off with no messing around. The house was well presented and tidied up by Alison's contacts and within three days the photos were produced ready for the online campaign. We were amazed to have 122 groups through and ultimately nine registered bidders at the auction. The result on the night exceeded the reserve and our expectations. We were thrilled, and a lot of this was down to Alison. She worked tirelessly for us, constantly following up with potential buyers, and this played a key role in getting the bidders to the Auction.
Alison's manner is calm, kind, supportive, reassuring and dedicated. We felt like her only client (even though she had other homes on the go at the time). She is also extremely responsive and was happy to work in around our busy timetable. Karina and I really enjoyed our catch-ups over a cup of tea.
Alison's experience in the Eastern Suburbs is first rate and not to be underestimated. We were very lucky to be in such good hands.
We would simply not use anyone else for as long as Alison is an agent in the Bays!
